Windstar Cruises Recognized on Condé Nast Traveler's 2016 Gold List
Seattle (PRWEB) January 14, 2016 -- Condé Nast Traveler recently released its 2016 Gold List with Windstar Cruises ranking as a top selection for “Favorite Cruise Lines.” The ranking focuses on the fleet’s expansion of three additional power yachts, exclusive complimentary Private Event offerings, and diverse cruise itineraries in destinations including the Caribbean, Tahiti, Europe, Costa Rica and the Panama Canal.
“Being named in this prestigious list is special to us, as it demonstrates our commitment to exceeding expectations – particularly as it relates to our unique experience of small ship luxury cruising in private yacht style,” said Hans Birkholz, Windstar Cruises’ chief executive officer. “Our guests often express appreciation for our great service and unique itineraries highlighted by small ports and complimentary Private Events. So it’s a big honor to be recognized by Condé Nast Traveler for what we do.”
Windstar’s three recently renovated sailing yachts carry just 148 to 310 guests and cruise to 50 nations, calling at 150 ports throughout Europe, the South Pacific, the Caribbean, and Central America. In May 2014, Star Pride, the first of three newly acquired power yachts, joined the fleet. In May 2015 the company launched Star Breeze and Star Legend. Additionally, all Windstar Cruises feature a Windstar Private Event, a spectacular onshore experience created exclusively for Windstar guests crafted to provide an in-depth local experience. Private Events vary depending on the sailing.
The Gold List is announced annually in Condé Nast Traveler and published online, at http://www.CNTraveler.com.
