Winner of Fiesta de la Flor #SelenaInspiresVideo Contest: Marissa Fava
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (PRWEB) April 24, 2015 -- Marissa Fava is the winner of the #SelenaInspiresVideo Contest sponsored by the law firm Herrman & Herrman, P.L.L.C. based in Corpus Christi.
The contest called for videos to be submitted on the topic of “Selena Inspires.” The winner of the video contest was chosen by the number of votes submitted through social media, and Ms. Fava garnered the winning number of votes (392) for her 30-second video about how Selena inspired her life. In her own words, “To this day, her heart inspires people around the world. Selena has taught me to help others and always be grateful for what you have.”
Ms. Fava said she was “beyond excited” to win such a meaningful prize.
Ms. Fava’s prizes for her video included two “meet-and-greet” passes for the Fiesta de la Flor festival, the opportunity to meet with the members of Los Lobos, A.B. Quintanilla, and Little Joe y La Familia, all of whom performed at the festival, a two-night stay at the Omni Hotel, and dinners for two.
“The firm is honored to be involved in this important community activity, and thankful for the help and support they got from Clarissa Serna from 'The Voice' in promoting the video contest,” said Gregory H. The firm had a tent at the sold-out festival, which took place the weekend of April 17-19 in Corpus Christi, and passed out koozies, t-shirts, and 500 ponchos for the rainy weather during the festival.
The Fiesta de la Flor is a celebration of the life and legacy of Selena Quintanilla Perez, the late Tejano singer.
