Winners Announced for 2015 Ruffalo Noel Levitz Marketing-Recruitment Excellence Awards

The awards recognize exemplary programs, services, and strategies that have made an impact on campus student enrollment.
The following institutions will be recognized for their exceptional marketing and recruitment efforts at the annual National Conference on Student Recruitment, Marketing, and Retention, July 8-10, in Boston, Mass.:
• Monroe Community College (Rochester, New York): In the last two years, Monroe Community College’s marketing and recruiting initiatives have resulted in a 150 percent increase in summer campus visits, improved applicant-to-approved and approved-to-registered rates, a 50 percent increase in the number of people participating in its admitted-student day, and inquiries and applications for fall 2015 exceeding goals during a turbulent time for community college enrollment.
• High Point University (High Point, North Carolina): Over the past two years, High Point University has experienced a 19 percent growth in the freshman class, a 10 point increase in the average SAT score, a 93 percent increase in applications submitted, and a 9 percentage point increase in inquiry-to-application rate. This year, the university has 4,300 undergraduate and graduate students from 48 states and 37 countries, a 197 percent increase in traditional undergraduate enrollment since 2005.
• University of Delaware (Newark, Delaware): Over the past two years, the University of Delaware increased selectivity and yield and exceed enrollment targets, while also achieving diversity goals and holding the discount rate constant. Specifically, yield has increased by three percentage points and the average SAT score has increased by 37 points (on a 2400 point scale), the fall 2014 class was the largest and most diverse class in the university’s history, and for the fall of 2015 class, selectivity increased by four percentage points, yield increased by a point, the average SAT is 15 points (on a 2400 point scale) above last year and near a historic high, and the average GPA is also up.
Institutions were nominated for the awards by Ruffalo Noel Levitz consultants and were selected based on several factors including institutional outcomes and execution of strategies that promote student awareness, inquiry, application, admission, deposit, and enrollment.
