As a cancer survivor himself, Senior Partner Mike Lewis is grateful that his firm is able to further the organization’s goals by sponsoring the event at the platinum level for the third year in a row.
“After recovering from prostate cancer in 2010, I began looking for ways to help others who have been affected by cancer. I learned that the lives of many folks in Forsyth County are changed daily by this devastating illness,” Lewis said.
“During my recovery, a friend mentioned Cancer Services of Forsyth County and the great opportunity they provide to help those in need. All funds raised stay in our community to help families and patients dealing with cancer. Cancer Services is available to help every step of the way.”
Cancer Services is a proud member of the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits. Its mission is to inspire courage through compassion by helping cancer patients in their journey toward long-lasting survivorship. One hundred percent of the proceeds from Wrapped Up In Ribbons remains within the area to serve local cancer survivors and their families.
