Wireless Analyst Jeff Kagan on Sprint Passing T-Mobile in RootMetrics Report
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 14, 2015 -- RootMetrics latest report says Verizon Wireless and AT&T Mobility are still virtually tied at the top with excellent quality, speed and reliability. No change here.
However this RootMetrics report also highlights how Sprint is the most rapidly improving and how it jumped ahead of T-Mobile USA once again, according to FierceWireless, Feb 10.
Industry analyst Jeff Kagan offers comment.
“Congratulations to Sprint on making the beginnings of a solid recovery in this latest RootMetrics report.” Says Kagan.
“As an Analyst I have been following and tracking the wireless world over the last few decades. Rapid changes in direction happen all the time. Both Sprint and T-Mobile have been struggling during recent years. However during the last year or two both have been rebuilding and strengthening.” Says Wireless Analyst Kagan.
“These current RootMetric results show that customers are noticing the improvement at Sprint, pushing the wireless carrier ahead of T-Mobile once again.” Says Telecom Analyst Kagan.
“This is less about a problem with T-Mobile and more about the strengthening of Sprint.” Says Kagan.
Over the last year, both Sprint and T-Mobile have begun their come-back. Their customers are noticing improvements in service.
Sprint and T-Mobile are number 3 and 4 and have a way to go in order to catch up to Verizon and AT&T. Fortunately the marketplace is big enough for all four to succeed in different slices of the pie.
“I hope both Sprint and T-Mobile continue to get better and stronger. Nothing would please me more than to see four, strong, high quality and rapidly growing wireless networks. Let’s hope they all continue to get better and stronger.” Says Kagan.
