Wisconsin Virtual Academy Celebrates National School Choice Week with Rallies Statewide
McFarland, Wis. (PRWEB) January 22, 2014 -- Wisconsin Virtual Academy, a tuition-free public charter school, will celebrate National School Choice Week by hosting a series of events across the state on Thursday, Jan. 30 and Friday, Jan. 31.
National School Choice Week shines a positive spotlight on effective education options for children – including traditional public schools, public charter schools, magnet schools, private schools, online schools, and homeschooling.
Wisconsin Virtual Academy will host several events throughout the state in order to celebrate school choice, taking place at bowling allies throughout the state. In addition to bowling, students will have the opportunity to play games and win prizes. Families will also be able to receive more information about Wisconsin Virtual Academy, K¹² curriculum and online learning.
“We’re thrilled that Wisconsin Virtual Academy is participating in National School Choice Week,” said Andrew Campanella, president of National School Choice Week. “We hear a lot about education in the news, but the students, teachers, and school leaders at Wisconsin Virtual Academy remind us that every single day, there are great things happening in schools of choice across America.”
