Wisconsin Virtual Academy Encourages Families to Weigh School Options During Open Enrollment Period
McFarland, WI (PRWEB) February 03, 2014 -- Wisconsin Virtual Academy, a tuition-free online public school for students in grades K-12, reminds parents they need to act soon to keep their school options open heading into the 2014-15 school year.
Parents considering enrolling their children in Wisconsin Virtual Academy (WIVA) or any other public school outside their resident district this fall must submit an application during the state’s open enrollment period: Feb. 3 through 4 p.m. CST April 30, 2014.
“We look forward to meeting new families during Open Enrollment to talk more about how we educate Wisconsin students in an online setting. We firmly believe in our individualized learning approach that is ideal for all types of learners, and encourage families to attend an upcoming event to learn how our program might be a good fit,” said Dr. Leslye Erickson, Wisconsin Virtual Academy Head of School.
Wisconsin Virtual Academy, an online public charter school authorized by the McFarland School District, offers highly individualized online education.
