Wishful Jewelry by Jess Kay Designs Brings Modern Urban Aesthetic to GBK’s Golden Globes Gift Lounge
San Francisco, California (PRWEB) December 17, 2013 -- Wishful Jewelry by Jess Kay Designs (http://www.jesskaydesigns.com) will participate in an invitation-only luxury celebrity gift lounge hosted by GBK Productions in honor of the 2014 Golden Globes Nominees and Presenters, where it will have its eco-friendly, fine silver earrings gifted to celebrities stopping by The Artisan Group® exhibit. The Gift Lounge will take place January 10-11, 2014 at an exclusive location in Beverly Hills, California.
Jessica Richards, designer/owner at Wishful Jewelry, was asked to create 100 pairs of earrings for the Golden Globes celebrity gifting. To fulfill the request, she created 50 pairs each of two different designs.
The first design, called “Ornate Geometric”, is a chandelier earring that is delicate, yet intricate and lightweight in design; it has an ornate butterfly pattern and draped sterling silver chains. The second design, “Triangular Bubble,” showcases a fun bubble pattern on a hand-cut triangular shape. Both earring designs have been lightly oxidized and are eco-friendly, using recycled silver.
Jessica handcrafted the earrings in her Northern California studio, using a time-intensive process that involves up to seven separate steps. The finished earrings will be presented to celebrities on walnut wood earring display cards tucked inside in a luxe Wishful Jewelry branded gift box.
In designing the earrings for the Golden Globes gifting, Jessica stayed true to her modern urban aesthetic, which she believes is a great fit for the celebrity recipients.

I was, of course, inspired by the show’s pet alligator, Burt Reynolds.”
Also, in keeping with Wishful Jewelry’s eco-friendly approach, Jessica recently began a partnership with the National Forest Foundation, where she will plant a tree for every piece of jewelry she sells.
Prior to embarking on her jewelry design career, Jessica was a retail store designer and graduated from the School of Architecture at the University of Oregon.
