WMSI Recruits Doug Perkins to Support Governance of Future Risk Management Strategies
New York, New York (PRWEB) September 17, 2014 -- Wealth Management Systems Inc. (WMSI) announced today that Doug Perkins has joined the firm as Information Security Officer. An industry veteran with extensive experience in software development, project management, quality assurance, and operations and information security, Mr. Perkins is assuming responsibility for the design and future development of WMSI’s enterprise-wide information security strategies and policies. Mr. Perkins reports to BJ Ralston, WMSI’s Chief Compliance Officer, and is based in WMSI’s Boston Office.
WMSI has grown significantly following the purchase of the S&P Capital IQ Financial Communications Division in October of 2013. Combining the firm’s data aggregation and financial planning expertise has fueled the development of new applications such as WMSI’s Advisor Workstation. The Workstation integrates plan, trustee, advisor and participant data from various sources and seamlessly ports data into various plan benchmarking and financial planning tools to drive all aspects of plan management in support of BDs, Retirement Plan Advisors, and Distribution Partners.

He holds several industry certifications, most notably, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Project Management Professional (PMI PMP).
