Women Against Abuse Partners with JMT Consulting To Update Their Nonprofit Financial Management Solution
Patterson, NY (PRWEB) December 13, 2016 -- JMT Consulting, a leader in providing financial management solutions exclusively to nonprofits, announced today that Women Against Abuse, Inc., Philadelphia’s preeminent domestic violence agency, has selected them as their financial systems consultant to help modernize the company’s financial management.
Women Against Abuse is a 501(c)(3) exempt organization with the mission to provide quality, compassionate and nonjudgmental services in a manner that fosters self-respect and independence in persons experiencing intimate partner violence, and to lead the struggle to end domestic violence through advocacy and community education. Nearly 13,000 people were served through one or more of Women Against Abuse’s services last year. The agency operates multiple programs throughout the city of Philadelphia and employees approximately 150 employees.
One of the organization’s key initiatives is a strong commitment to a sustainable infrastructure, which led to a need to update their financial applications and processes. The organization was struggling with paper-based transactions, reporting limitations and lack of real-time visibility to managers. With that in mind, JMT was able to draw on their extensive nonprofit experience to provide a strategic cloud-based solution that met their reporting and financial management needs and empowered people outside of finance with information so that the organization could continue to grow.
