Women In Trucking Association announces the renewal of J.B. Hunt Transport as Gold Level Partner
Plover, WI (PRWEB) February 19, 2016 -- J.B. Hunt Transport, one of the largest transportation logistics companies in North America, celebrates its second year supporting the nonprofit organization through a gold level sponsorship. Additionally, Stan Hampton, vice president of Driver Personnel at J.B. Hunt Transport, serves on the board of directors as vice chairman.
Hampton recently participated in a board strategic planning session to set the direction for WIT in the coming months and years. He brings to the organization more than 22 years of expertise in transportation, operations, recruiting and retention.
“Renewing our Gold Level Partnership with Women In Trucking continues a partnership dedicated to attracting and retaining professional women into our dynamic, growing industry,” said Hampton. “Nearly 25% of our female drivers are members of Women In Trucking and we look forward to seeing that number grow this year."
The mission of the Women In Trucking Association is to encourage the employment of women in the trucking industry, promote their accomplishments and minimize obstacles faced by women employed in the trucking industry.
