Wonderstructs Kickstarter Rolls Past Its Funding Goal
EUGENE, Ore., Oct. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Wonderstructs, LLC, hit its Kickstarter funding goal in the first 48 hours last week. The Kickstarter launched on Tuesday, October 10, and is now entering its second week. The campaign will run through November 9. The Kickstarter is available to back at https://kck.st/2gLDE4E.
Wonderstructs is a kit that allows you to build large rolling ball sculptures that mount to your wall. The kit includes a powered conveyor, chimes, a bowl, funnels, switches, a swinging arm, and plenty of straight and curved track parts. The parts are made from quality renewable plywood.
No measuring, drilling or hammering is required to assemble Wonderstructs. Everything is moveable, thanks to the magnetic support system. The support system can be removed from the wall without causing any damage.
Andy Johnston, the creator of Wonderstructs, assembled the first Wonderstructs contraption in his home in early 2017. Visitors kept saying that they wanted one for their own home.
In May 2017, Wonderstructs was unveiled at the Bay Area Maker Faire, where it won two awards: Editor's Choice and Best in Class.

Creator's Statement
I have three young kids, and I'm trying to help cultivate creative problem-solving skills through play.
We've built model boats, robots, and air-powered rocket launchers. But after these projects are built, we use them once and then they end up on the shelf, which I guess is better than the middle of my living room! With Wonderstructs, each design lives on the wall, where you can leave it up for everyone to enjoy.
We designed Wonderstructs to allow kids to construct their own giant marble machines—just like the ones they're used to seeing in museums. And to have fun building—and rebuilding—new and different creations.
