Woodbine and InterMountain Management to Develop Marriott TownePlace Suites Hotel in West Des Moines, Iowa
West Des Moines, Iowa (PRWEB) February 22, 2014 -- Woodbine Development Corporation and InterMountain Management (IMM) have launched their second hotel development project since joining forces in 2012, the companies announced today.
Construction is expected to begin later this year on a 99-key Marriott TownePlace Suites extended stay hotel in West Des Moines, Iowa. The 2-acre site, which borders a pond at the main entrance to Iowa’s largest shopping complex, Jordan Creek Town Center, was purchased by the partnership in December 2013. The hotel is scheduled to open in summer 2015.
Woodbine and IMM also are developing a four-story, 112-room Marriott TownePlace Suites hotel with a restaurant site overlooking Garnier Bayou in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. The two companies joined forces two years ago to capitalize on each organization’s respective resources in sourcing, financing and constructing. IMM is providing management services for the Marriott TownePlace Suites projects, while Woodbine oversees asset management duties.
