Woolpert to Provide IT Services to Support Cleveland Utilities
CLEVELAND, Ohio (PRWEB) February 02, 2015 -- Woolpert was recently contracted to provide a wide range of information technology (IT) services to support the Cleveland Department of Public Utilities’ (DPU) electrical, water and sewer needs. This will continue the company's 14-year working relationship with the city.
Woolpert is a national architecture, engineering and geospatial firm based in Ohio.
As one of three firms selected by DPU to perform the work detailed in the $3.2 million contract, Woolpert will research, develop and implement an array of IT solutions to not only help the department manage its physical assets, but also to lower costs for DPU’s 1.4 million citizens.

Woolpert established a Cleveland office in 2014 to ensure that a local workforce would be available for the city’s requirements.
As the prime contractor for the Cleveland project, Woolpert has created and will lead a team that includes three additional professional IT companies. Those companies include Centric Consulting, a business consulting and technology solutions firm providing enterprise IT services; Devore Technologies, a Cleveland-based small business providing IT support and training; and Gray Matter Systems, a provider of process automation, data management and operations supervision for public and private utilities.
Woolpert’s two-year, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract may extend to an optional third year, all at $1.6 million per year.
