Hosted by Abe Kasbo and sponsored by Raritan Bay Medical Center, the hour-long episode will feature Dr. Reema Patel, Dr. William Terens and Melissa d'Arabian.
Dr. Reema Patel, endocrinologist at Raritan Bay Medical Center, will explain the different types of thyroid disease including underactive and overactive thyroid. Dr. Patel will also discuss thyroid nodules and the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid cancer.
Dr. William Terens, urologist, will provide information about men's health. He will discuss prostate gland enlargement, including symptoms, diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Terens will also explain how low testosterone levels affect men's overall health and options for treatment.
Melissa d'Arabian is a Food Network personality, author and mom who lost her mother to suicide and now dedicates her time to support suicide prevention efforts nationwide. Melissa will be sharing her own personal story of her mother's suicide and how it has affected her life. She will also talk about some of the misconceptions about suicide and the need for education in an effort to help reduce the stigma surrounding suicide.
