Working Holiday Agency 'The Global Work & Travel Co.' Streamlines Corporate Operations - Customers Unaffected
Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia (PRWEB) April 10, 2015 -- The Global Work & Travel Co. has formally wound down two formerly active, but now long-dormant Australian companies in an effort to focus less on red tape and focus more on customer service.
The inactive companies ('The Global Work & Travel Co (Australia) Pty Limited,' and 'The Global Work and Travel Co Pty Limited') were part of an earlier Global corporate group of related corporations, until they were deemed unnecessary. The decision was made to liquidate them nine months ago while consolidating all Australian operations into a third company (The Global Work & Travel Co. (Asia Pacific) Pty Ltd. - which is unaffected by this decision. That liquidation process came to an end this week.
“It might be confusing when people see a travel agency “going out of business”, but we can reassure the public, suppliers and employees that our business is robust, strong, and consumers are safe,” says Julia Corben, spokesperson for The Global Work & Travel Co.
“It is business as usual and customers can expect to receive the same level of service they've come to expect organizing working holidays and volunteer trips."
“Our suppliers won’t notice any change. Our customers won’t notice a change. It’s purely, and simply, an accounting process. Our business is strong, growing, and we look forward to servicing the needs of student, youth and gap-year travellers for many years to come,” says Corben.
“Closing these redundant, dormant companies was just part of a process allowing more focus on providing a world-class working holiday and gap-year travel experience.”
The Global Work & Travel Co. will remain a proud member of the Australian Federation of Travel Agencies, as well as the Better Business Bureau and the World Youth & Student Education Travel Confederation.
Global is an Australian founded & headquartered international youth travel company with offices also in Canada and the UK, and services almost 10,000 working holiday, gap-year & youth travelers per year from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA and UK.
