World Alliance for Retail Excellence & Standards Announces Launch of Gold Certification Program for Retail Services Industry
Denver, CO (PRWEB) March 20, 2014 -- World Alliance for Retail Excellence & Standards, an organization that unites Retail Service Providers, Manufacturers, Retailers and Support Service members in a trusted global association marketplace, today announced the first of several initiatives to create system-wide improvements for the retail services industry with the launch of its Gold Certification Program.
World Alliance Gold Certification Program | Retail Service Management Standard applies to an organization in its entirety, rather than to a specific individual, process or product, and without respect to the size of the organization. The criteria was designed to both validate and identify opportunities for improving the value of a company’s services, while providing a level of assurance to both upstream and downstream consumers, and/or end-users, that the products and services delivered by a Gold Certified company comply with the published standards and criteria.
Executive Director, Tom Caddell, adds, “Since the Standard applies to management, operations, performance systems and processes, compliance demonstrates an organization is structured to deliver consistent, quality services that are designed to meet the customer's needs and expectations. And, by identifying the standards that are indicative of quality retail service companies, we are providing a path of operational and managerial improvement for our member companies.“
The World Alliance Gold Certification Program provides a standardized, ‘no cost’ solution to manufacturers and retailers working through the process of vetting out and selecting retail service providers while looking to protect their brand, minimize risk and deliver a positive customer experience.
Being awarded Gold Certified status makes World Alliance members the first and only companies to receive such a designation in the retail services industry, making them an even greater asset to retailers and manufacturers. “The process was very in-depth,” states Prime Retail Services President/CEO, Donald Bloom, “I trusted our systems were in good shape yet knew more work might be needed to achieve the Gold Certified level. But with the assistance of the auditor from the GlobalNet Certification Committee (GCC), we worked through the process with only minor modifications required. We are proud to count ourselves as one of a limited number of retail service companies committed to a higher standard of retail excellence and customer service delivery.”
