World's #3 Large Hostel Chain is HI USA
Silver Spring, MD (PRWEB) January 20, 2015 -- After analyzing guest feedback from thousands of hostels, HostelWorld named Hostelling International USA (HI USA) the #3 Large Hostel Chain in the world in its 2015 Hoscars competition. HostelWorld is the leading provider of online reservations for the budget, independent, and youth travel market, and the Hoscars recognize the top hostels around the globe as voted by HostelWorld customers. This is the 2nd year HostelWorld has had the Large Hostel Chain category and the 2nd year HI USA has received this honor. HI USA is the only U.S. organization to win a “Best” award in this prestigious competition.
Additionally, two hostels in the HI USA collection received individual recognition. HI Boston was named the #2 Extra Large Hostel in the World and the #1 Hostel in the USA, and HI Chicago was named the #3 Extra Large Hostel in the World.
HI USA is a nonprofit organization that inspires a genuine understanding of people, places, and cultures to create a more tolerant world. Guests at more than 50 HI USA hostels help bring this mission to life by joining a community of like-minded travelers from more than 100 countries. Together they take part in hostel-led tours, outings, and activities, share travel tips and advice, and engage in conversation to get to know the destination they're visiting like a local, while building friendships.
Meeting new people from all over the world is a key reason guests rate HI USA hostels so highly, because we make it fun, easy, and impactful. With a strategic focus on shared spaces, HI USA hostels are designed to naturally foster social interaction among guests. Walking tours, game nights, and group dinners are a few ways our hostels encourage travelers to mix and mingle with one another. The conversations that are then sparked about who they are and what life is like back home contribute to their deeper understanding of the world around.
"These prestigious awards are a testament to the kind of unforgettable experiences we provide our guests," says HI USA CEO Russ Hedge. "We're unrivaled in our ability to bring together people from all over the world in a meaningful way that lasts long after the hostel stay."
