About Zen Kodo Mat
The Zen Kodo mat is epoch‐making because of its three-revolutionary characteristics.
The first revolutionary characteristic of the Zen Kodo mat is that it is beautifully dyed by natural herbs and decorated with Zen Art all by hand work. It is taught in the tradition of Japanese Zen that Zen Art can heal and release the tensions in one's subtle body and helps to bring inspirations.
The second revolutionary characteristic of the Zen Kodo mat is that it is sustainable because it is made of all natural materials. This characteristic of the Zen Kodo mat will cast a stone in the yoga industry, because most of the conventional yoga mats are mass produced with petroleum-derived materials, which is a concern for both health and the environment. Zen Kodo mats are made with water hyacinth, which is a material that gathers attention from the field of sustainable development nowadays.
The third revolutionary characteristic of the Zen Kodo mat is that it is empowering women in the northeast of Thailand. ChoChoGreen cooperates to create natural hand-made mats with a qualified farmers group in Buriram province. It is their attempt to spread a message that "Makes more people happy by practicing yoga!"
