Worldwide Greeks Community Website is Acquired by Tanya and Nikos Stamoulis
Boston, MA (PRWEB) October 31, 2013 -- Worldwide Greeks (http://www.worldwidegreeks.com), a community website for Greeks living in the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Australia and other English-speaking Greeks around the world was recently acquired by Tanya and Nikos Stamoulis of Boston, Massachusetts.
Since 2005 Worldwide Greeks has been a social networking website responsible for connecting over 60,000 members of English-speaking Greeks from across the world. Tanya and Nikos Stamoulis are excited and honored to be continuing the tradition of Worldwide Greeks and are focused on making it an even bigger destination site for Greeks around the world to connect, as well as give non-Greeks interested in learning about things like Greek music, Greek food and recipes, travel, history, Greek mythology, Greek Orthodox religion, Greek news and more an “insider’s look” at what it means to be Greek.
Worldwide Greeks will be re-launched in spring 2014 with a totally new design and user-interface, designed to make it easier for users to find and share content. The new site will also feature an Greek e-commerce store where fans can purchase Greek products and Worldwide Greeks branded apparel and gear. Nikos and Tanya also plan on creating a bi-weekly newsletter so Worldwide Greek users can get the latest news and events.

The current social network and user-generated content will still be a fundamental component of the new Worldwide Greeks website design and users are encouraged to stay active and help spread the word of what it means to be a Greek living around the world. In addition Worldwide Greeks has a free Greek music app on the Droid Marketplace and iTunes store that gets thousands of downloads a day.
