Wound Care Education Institute Partners with Advanced Healing Solutions for Wound Care Training
Plainfield, IL (PRWEB) April 30, 2015 -- Wound Care Education Institute, Inc.® (WCEI), the country’s leading wound care and ostomy education provider, is partnering with Advanced Healing Solutions (AHS) and National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy® (NAWCO) to offer wound care training and certification to eligible clinicians through a scholarship grant from Wound Care Research Institute.
Wound Care Research Institute is selecting AHS to identify clinicians to receive the wound care certification scholarship. The scholarship will include the dynamic, online Skin and Wound Management course provided by WCEI as well as testing fees to NAWCO for the WCC, National Certification Exam. Once AHS is comfortable that each designated scholarship recipient is sufficiently prepared and will meet the minimum testing requirements, they will be nominated and can start the course. All fees are covered by the scholarship.
“In a growing market where there is still a great need for more certified clinicians, this empowering initiative demonstrates the collaborative efforts between four fine organizations in the name of wound care,” says Nancy Morgan, President and Co-Founder of Wound Care Education Institute.
