XAPPmedia Announces 450 Voice Apps on Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Microsoft Cortana Served by the One Voice AI™ Platform
WASHINGTON (PRWEB) October 18, 2017 -- XAPPmedia, the leader in interactive voice engagement, today announced the One Voice AI™ multi-assistant platform and managed service is now operating over 450 voice apps on Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Microsoft Cortana. Between March and October 2017, XAPP grew the managed service customer base from just six voice apps to over 450 with more than 300 added in just the last six weeks.
The One Voice AI platform and accompanying managed service include a number of features that make it easy for brands and media to established a presence on voice assistants and that automate key services once in production. Some of the features include automated audio encoding, image encoding, content validation, live content updates, multi-assistant integration, high availability services and tiered support. From a single voice app code base, XAPP helps companies reach consumers across multiple voice assistants and multimodal surfaces while also providing all of the required infrastructure, tools and manpower to ensure the voice app is reliably provisioned, validated and updated over time.
“XAPPmedia is building and managing multi-modal voice apps at scale for media and consumer brands on Alexa, Google Assistant and Cortana. In March, we had just six voice apps under management. Today we have have over 450 on three different voice assistants, all served from a single platform and managed service. The demand for new voice apps is growing as quickly as the consumer demand for smart speakers accelerates. It is important to have a company like XAPP that can deliver high quality to leading brands like Progressive Insurance and Scripps Media and meet the market scalability needs at the same time,” said XAPPmedia CEO and co-founder Pat Higbie.
“We start from the fundamental belief that every brand and media company needs to have access to consumers through digital voice assistants with multimodal interaction options. We also recognize that these companies need a partner that has already figured out how to work in the new medium and has tools, processes and technology that can help them launch a voice app quickly while ensuring reliable performance over time. The XAPP platform and managed service were developed to meet those requirements. Our customers only need to tell us their objectives and provide the content. We do the rest. These are long-term investments so we don’t stop at launch. XAPP provides services to maintain and improve voice apps over time,” said Michael Myers, XAPPmedia chief product officer and co-founder.
