XBOSoft Presents Webinar - So You Think You Can Write a Test Case
Reston, VA (PRWEB) June 29, 2015 -- XBOSoft presents a webinar Thursday, July 9 at 9:00am PDT/12:00pm EDT on the art of writing an effective test case. QA professional, Srilu Pinjala, will join XBOSoft and CEO Philip Lew as guest presenter to give tips and insights into how, when and who to write test cases for.
The internet provides a vast resource for information about test cases, including types, review dates, created date, requirements and approvals. Making one’s way through available literature to glean reliable, comprehensive sources on how to write a successful test case can be a challenge. So You Think You Can Write a Test Case will identify key steps in how to write a test case, including defining and identifying purpose, requirements and scenarios. The webinar will also offer practical advice in how to develop a test case that thoroughly and accurately addresses conditions and variables.
“A test case is not an afterthought,” says Srilu Pinjala. “It is the guide to using the application. It is the document that describes all the things an application is capable of. Knowing the questions to address helps test the application 'right' and even more essentially to verify the results 'right.'”
The webinar will also provide a forum for participants to ask in-depth questions about how to write a test case and the development process.
Srilu Pinjala has been a QA professional for over ten years and is an expert in testing customer facing applications. She has worked at Porch, Amazon and IBM. She developed Green Lantern Automation Framework where the scripts are agnostic to the User Interface. Pinjala presented at PNSQC in 2011 and 2012.
