Xpanxion Celebrates 10 Years of Cross Sourcing
ATLANTA, GA (PRWEB) November 09, 2016 -- In 2006, Xpanxion pioneered a software development business model that combined the advantages of resources based in rural United States, offshore, and metro areas to enable software teams to operate more efficiently and effectively. They called this model of acquiring team members “Cross Sourcing.” This year marks the ten year anniversary of Cross Sourcing that has brought economic prosperity to several communities in rural America.
Atlanta-based Xpanxion, which has been in operation since 1997, opened as an offshore outsourcing company. Prior to Cross Sourcing, CEO and President, Paul Eurek, sought ways to improve customer experience issues caused by a purely offshore model such as time-zone differences, contrasting cultures, and language barriers. In 2006, Eurek, a Nebraska native, chose to open Xpanxion’s first rural delivery center in the cost-effective college town of Kearney, Nebraska. The new office would serve to provide a domestic presence to solve these issues, resulting in increased productivity among teams, and improved client satisfaction. This new model was dubbed “Cross Sourcing.” It has been 10 years since Cross Sourcing was implemented, and the company has experienced on average, an annual growth rate of over 20% per annum. In that time, Xpanxion has created hundreds of high-tech jobs, and has opened additional locations in Ames, Iowa; Manhattan, Kansas; Lincoln, Nebraska; and Fort Collins, Colorado.
Eurek, who realized the vision of Cross Sourcing, said, “My goal has been for Xpanxion to be a world class software development firm.
