Yamaha’s Line of Reconfigured Xeno C Trumpets Provide Improved Response and Greater Tonal Control
ANAHEIM (PRWEB) January 31, 2015 -- Yamaha introduced a redesigned lineup of Xeno C trumpets at the 2015 NAMM Show last week. The series, which includes the YTR-8445S, the YTR-8445GS, the YTR-8445G and the YTR-8445, include many of the same innovative updates made to the new generation of Xeno B-flat trumpets, unveiled at the 2014 NAMM Show.
The models in the new Xeno C trumpet series, which appeal to a range of players from professionals to students, have been reconfigured from the bell to the leadpipe to provide unmatched value. The new bell design provides optimal resistance for a powerful tonal core and more accurate slotting in the upper register. A lighter valve casing and pistons result in an improved response and greater tone control, from pianissimo to fortissimo. The new models come with a backpack-style case.
“These new trumpets represent a fusion of craftsmanship, outstanding instrument design, advanced technology and the experience, talent and input of respected artists around the world,” said Brian Petterson, marketing manager, Wind Instruments, Yamaha Corporation of America. “The instruments in the flagship line of Xeno trumpets inspire ideal musical expression.”
Pricing and Availability:
The Yamaha Xeno C trumpet series (MSRP: $3,378 to $3,578) will ship in April 2015.
