Yamaha Showcases Latest BB Series Models and Signature Basses at Bass Player LIVE! Expo
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) November 03, 2017 -- Yamaha Guitars will be showcasing its latest bass models, along with several signature artist pieces, at Bass Player LIVE!, an eclectic, two-day bass exhibition held November 4-5 at the famous SIR Studios in Los Angeles.
Bass Player LIVE! will assemble bass legends, manufacturers, musicians and fans for two days of clinics, a massive gear expo, concerts and an award show. The event will also feature more than 20 artist signings, live music and gear giveaways. Yamaha Artists in attendance will include Verdine White, as well as Abraham Laboriel, who will be hosting a clinic.
Yamaha will be showcasing all nine new models from the BB Series of basses. Recently launched at the 2017 Summer NAMM show, these models deliver the superb tone and build quality for which the series is known, in a smaller body with even better playability. Being careful not to mess with the success and proven design of the BB Series, Yamaha made practical and stylistic modifications, including subtle contour changes and body weight reduction, to increase playability and comfort, while still retaining the classic silhouette of the BB body/head design.
In a nod to the legendary team of Yamaha Bass Artists, three classic Yamaha signature basses will also be on display, including the Billy Sheehan Signature Attitude Limited 3, the Nathan East Signature BBNE2 and the John Patitucci Signature TRBJP2. Yamaha has a history of teaming up with respected artists to create instruments designed to complement their playing style. Such collaboration gives an instrument its own unique flavor while allowing musicians to match instrument to style, helping players tailor their own sound according to the direction they want to take their music.
