SAN DIEGO, Jan. 2, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/
Yoga Six has confirmed the dates it will be hosting yoga teacher training in 2018 for all thirteen studio locations across the United States and has already began taking reservations for its 2018 yoga teacher training courses.
Yoga Six offers teacher training in San Diego, St. Louis, Chicago, Columbus, Milwaukee, and Leawood. The actual training dates are already available on the Yoga Six website, which is just in time for people who are planning their new year's resolution!
Yoga Six's yoga teacher training is meant for both individuals who wish to teach and those who simply want to advance and improve in their practice. During the 200 hours of training, participants will gain knowledge in body alignment, anatomy, yoga philosophy, how to teach a safe and effective yoga class, as well as develop skills in leadership, listening and facilitation.
"It was a blessing to be among a group of men and women willing to do the work, all of which would not have been possible without the guidance of strong leaders who gave us all permission and space to learn at our own pace. I never felt judged, only supported," said Janine, a San Diego Instructor who completed the Yoga Six teacher training course. "Before this experience, my sense of identity was weak, and instead of celebrating who I am as an individual, I wished I could be something else. YTT was a space that allowed me to start thinking differently. My peers, we were all so different, from all walks of life, and we each started our own journey together. I am much more aware and amazingly less judgmental."
The yoga instructor training is certified by Yoga Alliance, an organization responsible for maintaining the integrity and consistency of yoga trainings throughout the world. Yoga Alliance only includes a school as a Registered Yoga School when it's yoga teacher training program meets its clear and predetermined criteria. Yoga Six's 200-Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training holds a five-star rating from Yoga Alliance.
Yoga Six offers a multitude of resources to prepare students leading up to the yoga teacher training, including a breakdown of the topics that will be covered and hours dedicated to each.
