Houston, TX (PRWEB) April 13, 2015 -- You Squared Media was named 2014 Marketer of the Year Best in Category, Consumer Retail, for the 2014 BreWingZ Sports Bar & Grill marketing campaign by the Houston Chapter of the American Marketing Association. You Squared Media President Tracey Cleckler, and Vice President Clarence Estes accepted the award during the 10th anniversary banquet March 5, 2015. AMA Houston also honored 63 category finalists and announced the 21 Best in Category winners.

Winners are chosen by a local judging panel comprised of university professionals, faculty chairs, marketing vice presidents, directors and other industry professionals. The team reviews and scores each on its completeness, difficulty of challenge, specificity of objectives, effectiveness of marketing strategy/tactics and measurable evidence of results. The top scores in each category are finalists, and the top score is the Best in Category winner.

In 2013, You Squared Media launched a rebranding campaign for a restaurant chain with 19 locations. Tracey Cleckler explains, "It was important to be systematic executing this strategy; so customers kept coming into the restaurants even while the new BreWingZ Sports Bar & Grill signs were going up. We wanted to reinforce the message; that the delicious menu was vast, the wings were great, they had several locations, and that it was also a great place to watch sports." Clarence Estes adds, "We developed a slogan,” “Great Beer. Better WingZ," that defines the new name and also attracts new customers." A new website, strong TV campaign, heavy radio including radio remotes and giveaways, and a smart billboard campaign helped build brand awareness. The results were extremely positive. BreWingZ’s 2013 revenues surpassed everyones expectations. Now with 24 locations and growing, BreWingZ Sports Bar & Grill is expanding with additional locations.
