Young Woman Pursues Culprit who Robbed her Sister’s Grave, Stole her Identity in ‘Imposter’
WICHITA, Kan. (PRWEB) July 19, 2017 -- Home on summer break following her junior year of college, Haley Jacobs is enjoying some time with her family while working at her mother’s bakery. Life is good and all is well – until the doorbell rings one fateful afternoon. Her sister has died. And that would only be the first in a strange string of tragedies in Nate Lee’s debut supernatural novel, “Imposter” (published by WestBow Press).
Shortly after the funeral, Haley’s sister’s grave is violated; the casket has been unearthed and pried open. Hoping better days are ahead, she tries to put family misfortunes behind her – but that becomes impossible when she hears someone posing as her sister on the radio. Haley becomes determined to uncover just who is exploiting her family.
Along her journey, Haley is joined by a man whose fate has led him down similar adversities – and he becomes a father figure for the young woman. Together, they pursue the culprit responsible for the sinister acts.
Woven throughout the mystery, Lee grapples with the overarching theme of God’s hand in suffering. He says, “We all endure hardship to some degree. The Bible even instructs us to rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that it eventually produces hope.”
