Your Teen Magazine for Parents Announces Addition of Psychologist Dr. Lisa Damour as Regular Contributor on Teen Behavior and Development Issues

Dr. Damour is the director of the Center for Research on Girls at Laurel School, a psychologist in private practice, and a regular contributor the New York Times Motherlode blog.

The topic this week is “The Messy Room,” and each day Dr. Damour will take a slightly different angle on the subject to provide multifaceted coverage on one of the big problems parents often have with their headstrong teenage children.
Dr. Damour is an expert among experts. A published author, consultant, speaker and clinical instructor at Case Western Reserve University, she is also a Ph.D. practicing psychologist and Director of the Center for Research on Girls at Laurel School in Shaker Heights, Ohio.
Her new book on the parenting of teenage girls is soon to be published by Random House. Dr. Damour is especially committed to grounding the day-in, day-out practice of raising and educating girls with the latest research on girls’ growth and development. Her work with Your Teen Magazine will cover a gamut of subjects that are important to today’s parents as well as their teen children.
