Yusen Logistics Experts to Present at CSCMP Annual Conference
Secaucus, NJ (PRWEB) September 21, 2016 -- Senior executives from Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc. will participate in panel discussions at the Council of Logistics Management Professional’s (CSCMP) Annual Conference in Orlando, FL this month. The conference is the largest of its kind for the supply chain management profession and the only event representing the entire supply chain end-to-end.
For the first time, Yusen Logistics, located in Booth 405, will be exhibiting at the 2016 Supply Change Exchange, which will be held in conjunction with the conference. The company is also co-chairing an educational track, Manufacturing and Service Operations, which will examine important supply chain issues and trends in the manufacturing and service industries.
The conference will be held on September 25-28 at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center. The sessions featuring Yusen Logistics executives will take place on Tuesday, September 27 as follows:*
10:30-11:45: Ron Marotta, Yusen Logistics’ Vice President, International Division, will serve as a panelist for CSCMP’s 27th Annual “State of Logistics Report.” A.T. Kearny, Penske Logistics and other industry experts will discuss highlights and trends emerging from this year’s report, which is the premier benchmark for logistics activity in the U.S.
2:00-3:15: Adriene Bailey, Yusen Logistics’ Chief Strategy Officer, will serve as a panelist in the “Port Performance – Maintaining Freight Fluidity in a Changing Environment” session. Attendees will learn how to benchmark port performance measures and understand how to improve freight fluidity in congested markets.
2:00-3:15: Mary Anne Kennedy, SVP of Human Resources, Yusen Logistics, will serve as a panelist in the “Bridging the Gap between Supply Chain and the C-suite” session. This panel of seasoned experts will discuss how to elevate the importance of the supply chain in the C-Suite.
