The founder of this successful band, Zac Brown, hails from a small town in Georgia called Dahlonega. His background includes working as a restaurant owner and solo artist for many years before he founded the band in 2004 in Atlanta. Band members include: Jimmy De Martini on the fiddle, Coy Bowles on the guitar, Clay Cook on a mixture of instruments, Chris Fryar on drums and John Hopkins on bass. Zac Brown Band released a few albums prior to 2008, but their breakout project was "The Foundation."
