Zamansky LLC Announces That It Is Investigating Financial Advisor Andrew R. Scheirer II of First Allied Securities In Orlando, Florida
New York, New York (PRWEB) July 30, 2013 -- Zamansky LLC announces that it is investigating financial advisor Andrew R. Scheirer II of First Allied Securities Inc. Scheirer has an office located in Orlando, Florida. The investigation concerns allegations of unauthorized speculative private investment sales to clients of venture capital funds and limited liability company interests.
Scheirer's alleged sales also included venture capital funds offered by Advanced Equities Inc. (“AEI”). On September 18, 2012, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") instituted an Administrative and Cease and Desist Proceeding against AEI and two of its principals. The case is In the Matter of Advanced Equities, Inc., Dwight O. Badger and Keith G. Daubenspeck, File No. 3-15031. The SEC alleges that AEI made misstatements to investors, and that there was a failure to supervise sales of private investments in non-public companies.
The investigation concerns allegations of unauthorized and unsuitable speculative private investment sales of AEI funds, venture capital funds and limited liability company interests.
