ZCorum Signs Expanded Multi-Year Contract With Schurz Communications
Alpharetta, GA (PRWEB) June 19, 2014 -- ZCorum, a leading provider of managed broadband services and diagnostics, announced that it has signed an expanded, multi-year contract with Schurz Communications. Schurz will be receiving modem provisioning, email services, diagnostics and end-user support in both its operations in Arizona, and will also be utilizing ZCorum’s TruVizion application for cable modem and CMTS diagnostics in its other facilities.
Schurz, headquartered in Indiana, owns several newspapers, television stations, radio stations, cable companies, a phone directory and a printing company. In 2012 the communications company purchased cable operator Western Broadband, which at the time was receiving managed internet services, diagnostics and end-user support from ZCorum. Schurz has renewed that agreement, and added services for three additional cable operations in Maricopa City, AZ, FL and MD.
"We're very happy with the services we've received from ZCorum at our former Western Broadband operation, so it made sense to extend that to Maricopa City,” said Brian Lynch, Vice President of Cable Operations. “We're also looking forward to having access to their TruVizion diagnostics in all of our locations moving forward. It's been a great asset for our staff in Arizona." Lynch said they would also be testing some of ZCorum's newer diagnostics solutions, including their proactive network maintenance tool PreEqualization Analyzer.
