Zero Cost Cell Plans from RingPlus Get Better by the Minute with the Pepper Plan
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 29, 2015 -- Low cost cellular service provider RingPlus is adding a new plan named Pepper (in addition to its popular Free Plan with 200 minutes, 50 texts, 10MB). The Pepper Plan will include 250 minutes, 500 texts, and 10 MB for Free per month. Both plans have the possibility to use additional amounts of minutes, texts, and data for 2 cents per unit.
The Pepper Plan will be available on ringplus.net beginning Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at 9:00 pm Pacific Time in addition to the already existing Free Cell Plan. It can be activated on any eligible handset following the Bring Your Own Sprint Device (BYOSD) requirements (phones can be checked for eligibility at https://my.ringplus.net/device_validation_requests/new). RingPlus is also selling eligible phones on its store at https://store.ringplus.net/.
RingPlus gives its Members the best possible call quality and service. All RingPlus plans are exclusively available at ringplus.net, and coverage is provided over the Sprint Nationwide Network for minutes, texts, and data. RingPlus does not require its Members to use WiFi as do so many of the other paid low cost mobile phone plan providers.
RingPlus can afford such industry leading pricing as it relies on alternative revenue streams from its content rich media channel featuring music, news, and advertisements. During each phone call they make, RingPlus Members are listening to a RingPlus Radio Station until the other party picks up the call. The call is not delayed, and the music, news, and advertisement stops right away after the other party answers the phone call. Members can customize their experience by choosing from a steadily growing ensemble of Radio Stations including Pop, Classical, News, and Comedy.
Important RingPlus Consumer Notice: The two plans are very different in the following ways and will attract different audiences. RingPlus is introducing the Pepper Plan with auto top up in direct response to multiple Members' requests for it.
a) The current Free Plan has 200 minutes, 50 texts, and 10 MB of LTE data. Although a credit card is necessary to sign up for this Plan, RingPlus will never charge the card on file unless the RingPlus Member chooses to top up his or her account to get a greater allotment of talk, text, and data. The plan will just stop working when the Member runs out of their allotment of talk, text, and data which will be automatically replenished the next month based on the day they joined RingPlus. This Plan does not require a top up balance.
b) The new Pepper Plan requires a $5.00 top up balance that is initially charged at sign up. It will automatically top up an additional $5.00 each time the account balance reaches zero. Members can monitor their usage easily from their accounts page. The Pepper Plan will include 250 minutes, 500 texts, and 10 MB per month.
“We strongly encourage our Members to monitor their data usage because smartphones tend use data often just to update applications and other software. We have very smart Members, and our open communication with them is necessary to avoid any misunderstanding. The Pepper Plan has a greater allotment of talk, text, and data than the current one. It’s attractive, but we will also offer the current plan as a very safe alternative to our Members," said Karl Seelig, Founder and CEO of RingPlus.
