ZOZI Presents 103rd Annual Bay to Breakers Race in San Francisco, CA
San Francisco (PRWEB) May 16, 2014 -- ZOZI, the leading brand helping people live more active lifestyles, has partnered with Bay to Breakers on its 103rd annual race through San Francisco. The event kicks off this Sunday, May 18, with 40,000 spirited participants and nearly 100,000 spectators hailing from the Bay Area and around the world. The 12K race is the oldest consecutively run footrace in the world, and a mainstay of the City by the Bay since 1912. The race starts from the Embarcadero and ends across the city at the Great Highway, where the breakers crash onto the Pacific Coast’s ocean beach.
"ZOZI's mission is to help people get out from behind their computers and live a more active life, an ethos we share with Bay to Breakers. San Francisco is our home and we are honored to team up with Bay to Breakers, a San Francisco classic with deep roots in the city's history and one of the most iconic events in the world," says TJ Sassani, CEO of ZOZI.
“Bay to Breakers continues to grow as one of the most unique and colorful footraces and it has always been our mission to partner with innovative brands that emphasize the importance of exploration,” said Matt Wikstrom, Executive Vice President of Wasserman Media Group, the new owner and operator of Bay to Breakers. “ZOZI is a leader in the experience space, and we look forward to them incorporating their expertise into this iconic event.”
ZOZI has committed to working closely with Bay to Breakers and the Office of the Mayor of San Francisco to continue to improve the beloved tradition and elevate it to new heights.
