Cafesano Named Best of Neighborhood by The Washingtonian

It’s not the first time Cafesano made it to the pages of the Washingtonian. Back in 2010, a Herndon resident gave the restaurant proper respect for its fresh and healthy food in the Visitor’s Guide section.
Earlier in 2013, Cafesano was awarded a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor for the consistently positive reviews left by satisfied customers. Similar to the praise from the Washingtonian, Cafesano reviews on TripAdvisor frequently mention friendly service, the simple dining concept, fresh and flavorful food, and the variety and affordability of the Mediterranean and Italian food the café has to offer.
Cafesano has also recently introduced a gluten-free menu to accommodate its patrons with dietary restrictions. The gluten-free menu contains items from the regular lunch and dinner menu that either are already gluten-free or can be prepared to eliminate gluten.
Homemade Cafesano dips such as Hummus, Tzatziki and Baba Ghanoush can be served with veggie slices instead of bread. Similarly, certain soups and salads can be ordered without croutons and bread to fit any gluten-free lifestyle or choice.
