Grind Appoints Felicia Stingone As Chief Marketing Officer
New York, NY (PRWEB) April 07, 2016 -- Grind LLC, a co-working space and professional development platform for growing businesses and independent professionals, announces today the appointment of brand and marketing leader Felicia Stingone as Chief Marketing Officer. This news follows the company’s recent naming of David Beale as Chief Executive Officer and its new, collaborative partnership with Verizon.
“At Grind, we are redefining the work experience for entrepreneurs and growing businesses by providing an inspiring physical space and a culture that fosters a collaborative and creative exchange of ideas,” said David Beale, Chief Executive Officer. “We believe in making the overall work experience welcoming and productive, by connecting people to create meaningful business relationships. Those connections are essential to building the Grind community, and we are excited to welcome Felicia Stingone, whose depth and breadth of experience make her a natural fit to lead our marketing as we enter our next stage of rapid growth.”
Before joining Grind, Felicia Stingone was the Senior Managing Director, Brand and Marketing for Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG) where she worked with Danny Meyer to shape the company's brand strategy and build out a marketing infrastructure and team to support the company’s expansion goals. She has been the Director of Brand and Marketing for the 92nd Street Y and an associate partner at ad agency Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners (now Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners) where she has worked with leading brands including Citibank, Hennessy Cognac, Snapple, and Target. Felicia was also instrumental in early brand strategy development and marketing activation for Smart Water/Vitamin Water.
“Grind’s approach to coworking is uniquely rooted in hospitality,” said Stingone. “As a former
member, I know that the inspiring workplace culture Grind offers is shaped by our people -- our dedicated Grind team, our innovative partners and our fast-growing community of members who we call 'Grindists’. At our core, Grind promotes productivity and the strong belief that who you work with is critical to your success. Coming out of hospitality I appreciate the collaborative experience Grind delivers both in terms of how we provide for our members and how we partner with companies like Verizon, Justworks and General Assembly. I look forward to working with the Grind team as we define what it means to be a leader in coworking.”
Stingone’s appointment as Chief Marketing Officer comes following Grind’s appointment of David Beale, entrepreneur and serviced-office industry pioneer, as Chief Executive Officer. In addition, Grind recently announced its partnership with Verizon to create a co-working space at Verizon’s landmark building at 140 West Street in lower Manhattan. The unique space will offer the startup and entrepreneurial communities of lower Manhattan access to Grind's suite of pricing options, premium aesthetic and culture of innovation. This, combined with Verizon's technology and real estate expertise will deliver a powerful workplace experience to users of the space. Pre-opening memberships are now available at both new locations.
