iPatientCare Held It’s Biannual Meeting iHEAR to Celebrate the Achievements and Plan for the Rest of 2015
Woodbridge, NJ (PRWEB) June 23, 2015 -- iPatientCare, Inc., a pioneer in mHealth and cloud based ambulatory EHR, integrated Practice Management and Patient Portal solutions, held its first biannual meeting “iPatientCare Half-yearly Engagements, Achievements, and Roadmap” (iHEAR) meeting, which was attended by its key people and channel partners. A series of iHEAR meetings have been scheduled twice a year, where iPatientCare’s key resources and channel partners meet to discuss about their present engagements and achievements during the last six month and prepare the roadmap for the next six months and beyond.
The day-long meeting started with early-breakfast and ended with celebrations of the achievements over the cocktails. The key achievements during the last six month was iPatientCare being the first recipient of the ConCert by HIMSS™ EHR certification from ICSA Labs based on Interoperability Work Group (IWG) specifications. This certification was granted after rigorous and thorough testing to the technical specifications EHR Edge and Direct Edge System test groups.
iPatientCare also became the first EHR vendor, selected from a rigorous evaluation process in accordance with the GNYHA Ventures Ambulatory Electronic Record Request for Proposal (RFP). Through this agreement, GNYHA Services, Innovatix, and Essensa healthcare members have access to an ambulatory EHR and related services, including a list of free interfaces and custom reports.
Another important achievement was iPatientCare EHR v2014 (2.0) software accomplishing certification for the Surescripts Implementation Guide v 10.6 2013-05-01, for Electronic Prescribing of Controlled Substances (EPCS) Services. With this added feature, iPatientCare users now have access to complete end-to-end ePrescribing capabilities in awards-winning, easy-to-use, Cloud-based EHR.
Udayan Mandavia, CEO/President, iPatientCare, Inc. enthusiastically addressed the team members and channel partners “This year started with lot of challenges; on one hand we had newer interoperability standards and certifications being evolved under Interoperability Work Group, on the other hand we had much needed Electronic Prescribing of Controlled Substances (EPCS). From the services stand-point, ramping up operations to handle exceptional growth in our Revenue Cycle Management services and rolling-out of ICD-10 version to thousands of customers and training them on dual-coding were an equal challenge.” Udayan continued, “We are the first and ONLY ConCert by HIMSS EHR till today, which is a significant achievement, thanks to our commitment to interoperability backed by engineering excellence! Receiving the EPCS certification in a record time to meet (then) mandated deadlines, talks about our commitment to the customers, thanks to your enthusiasm and support.” He further added, “The Meaningful Use stage 3 NPRM and test scripts are out and we have been working diligently as part of ONC’s Implementation, Certification & Testing Workgroup to provide feedback and also preparing ourselves for the next set of certifications.”
The meeting ended on a high note with a commitment to meet in December 2015, just before the Christmas to take stock of 2015 and finalize the road-map for 2016.
