Meadows Farms Employees to Jump Out of a Plane to Cure Cancer
(PRWEB) August 18, 2014 -- After a smashing success last year, Meadows Farms will once again be hosting PINK DAYS, a fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). BCRF is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) that is the only breast cancer organization to be awarded an “A+” by CharityWatch. Pink Days 2014 will be held over the Columbus Day weekend- October 11-13, 2014.
Part of the fundraising efforts this year will focus on a skydiving event- employees will ask for donations from sponsors to champion them in jumping out of an airplane. All funds raised will be donated directly to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The jump will take place on Saturday October 4th with DC Skydiving Center at Warrenton Airpark.

Over the Columbus Day weekend, Meadows Farms Nurseries will be rockin’ the pink t-shirts and bandanas, and invites the public to do the same, setting the tone for some serious fundraising. Highlights will include raffles, silent auctions, local vendors, music, community organizations & local fire departments, food vendors, and other fun and festive events! Since they began hosting Pink Days, Meadows Farms has raised over $50,000 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and they have set a goal this year of $30,000.
