US Cargo Control Expands Line of L-Track, Adding 140 New Styles, Sizes, and Colors
Urbana, IA (PRWEB) February 28, 2014 -- US Cargo Control continues to broaden its selection of tie down products, with the addition of several L-track tie down rails, kits and accessories.
L-track is also known as airline track or logistic track, from its use in aircraft manufacturing as a way to secure seats inside an airplane. In the cargo control industry, L-track rails create an extremely versatile tie down system for use on flat trailers, or in enclosed trailers, truck beds, or van trailers.
While the company previously carried just 10 tracks and basic fittings, over 140 new products have recently been added.
New additions include a powder coated L-track in a variety of colors: orange, blue, red, olive drab and lime green. Both angled L-track and recessed L-track are also now available, both featuring designs which result in fewer abrupt edges, making rolling cargo across it easier and smoother. Accessories such as track filler and end caps were also added to the selection for protection and a professional appearance. One of the biggest changes to the category of products is the addition of several all-inclusive kits so customers can create a customized tie down system right out of the box.
Category manager Ashley Rambo says the additions to the category were created as a way to reach out and serve US Cargo Control’s varied customer base.
“L-track is extremely versatile, whether it’s just single tie down points anchored in a truck bed, or full 96" rails installed in a delivery truck,” said Rambo. “We wanted to widen our selection to make sure we had something for everyone, whether it’s a consumer needing to transport a motorcycle, or one of our business-to-business customers wanting to create a full tie down system to secure cargo in a fleet of van trailers.”
The addition of the tie down rails also complements the company’s recent expansion of its tie down straps division, which included hundreds of new product additions in its tie down straps category, and expansion of its on-site strap manufacturing initiatives.
“It’s been exciting to build upon our goals of increasing our tie down options for our customers,” said Rambo. “Our next product updates will include adding more 3" and 4" wide tie down straps to expand this category even further.”
