Pend.) They are made to relieve pain and increase the comfort of people with Raynaud's Syndrome, Raynaud's Disease or Raynaud's Phenomenon who frequently have painfully cold hands fingers, feet and toes. The purpose of these new comfort producing Wrist & AnkleWraps is to keep the blood in the wrists and ankles as warm as possible as it flows into hands, fingers, feet and toes. The insulation material that is used to do this is made with a NASA developed ultra thin, most efficient insulation material (Aerogel). This insulating material is the lightest and lowest density solid known to exist. The purpose of the ultra-thin insulation in these Wraps is to control and maintain blood temperature and at the same time help to increase the flow of blood as it moves through the wearer's wrists and ankles to the fingers and toes. People with Raynauds Syndrome, Raynaud's Disease, or Raynaud's Phenomenon are advised to wear these Wraps constantly or as often as possible (suggest: 24/7) as a way to condition and, over time, attempt to enlarge veins and small blood vessels with the result that pain is reduced as the flow of more and warmer blood reaches the fingers and toes. Weber Wrist & Ankle Wraps are non-electric and re-usable.The Wraps, have an exterior covering (sleeve) of black Ripstop nylon. Wraps are held in place with a Velcro strap. As an extra benefit, included with each Wrap, is a felt liner that is removable and washable. It is designed to keep the inside of the Wraps fresh and clean during daily use as well as for the extended use of the Weber Wrist & Ankle Wraps over many months time.

(PRWeb February 21, 2010)

Read the full story at http://www.prweb.com/releases/2010/2/prweb3627694.htm

NASA Insulation Helps Raynauds Sufferers And Others In Physical Therapy Say: "No More!" To Cold Hands and Feet When Using Weber's New TLC Wraps

A new invention of Originals By Weber is their TLC Hand & Foot Warming Wrist & Ankle Wraps. These wraps are made for many in physical therapy and will be very helpful to people who suffer with Raynauds Syndrome who constantly have cold hands and feet. These non-electric wraps use a new insulation material (designed by NASA for use by astronauts in space) to carefully and effectively maintain the normal temperature of blood as it flows from the wearer's body into extremities such as hands and feet. This NASA developed material is the lightest and lowest-density solid known to exist. It is composed of amorphous silicon dioxide, and 99.8% air. It also holds the world's record for being the best insulator and lowest density solid. The material's true strength is its incredible insulating properties. In fact, it negates just about any kind of energy transfer: thermal, electrical or acoustic. In short, this new insulation material is the method of temperature level control (TLC) of the blood that Weber uses to provide warmer and more comfortable fingers and toes for all wearers of their new wrist and ankle wraps. This space age ultra-thin insulation material provides TLC (temperature level control) that maintains the temperature of the blood in fingers and toes at a constant 72-degrees at all times. Thus, the pain and discomfort of cold hands and feet so familiar to Raynauds sufferers can be eliminated once and for all. The wraps are made of nylon material that is 9" long by 3" wide x 3/32" thick. The Wraps are fastened around the wrists and ankles and held in place with Velcro straps. In this way, the temperature of blood that is controlled at approximately 72 degrees provides much warmer hands and feet in hot or cold weather. Weber's TLC Wraps are made in one size to fit men, women and youths and are available for immediate shipment from New Jersey.

(PRWeb June 13, 2009)

Read the full story at http://www.prweb.com/releases/2009/06/prweb2525654.htm

NASA Helps Raynaud's People and All Others Say: "Goodbye" To Cold Hands and Feet With New Weber TLC Wraps

A new invention of Originals By Weber is their TLC Hand & Foot Warming Wrist & Ankle Wrap.
