Karaoke World Championships USA rocked Red Square this past weekend as the USA's national karaoke champions; Tami Marie and Edward Pimentel belted out tunes on stage in Moscow Russia at the 2010 Karaoke World Championships. Wendell Payne, President of KWCUSA says, “Tami and Edward gave the best overall performances of the entire competition. They raised the bar for the world. This was the U.S. at its best and we should all be proud of how they represented America on and off the stage.” Tami finished 3rd, higher than any other USA female since we have been competing. Both Tami and Edward brought the complete package with incredible vocals, stage presence and performance

KWCUSA crowned the 2010 Karaoke National Champions

KWCUSA crowned the 2010 Karaoke National Champions in Houston, Texas this past weekend. Over 40 contestants from around the country competed live onstage at HUSH on August 28th and 29th. Edward Pimentel and Tami Marie were crowned the winners of the male and female category and will be representing the U.S. at the Karaoke World Championships to be held in Moscow, Russia on September 23 through 25th.

City of Mason Ohio Declares Karaoke Week

The City of Mason, Ohio has issued a proclamation declaring August 3rd - August 9th Karaoke Week. The Mayor signed the proclamation on Friday January 9, 2009 clearing the way for a week long karaoke celebration. The week long karaoke celebration that will include a two day Karaoke trade fair beginning on Monday, and a host of events being held at schools, shopping centers, and karaoke venues in the city each day. The weeklong cavalcade of karaoke activities will culminate in 3 day Karaoke World Championship USA National competition. Kings Island will be the site for the championship event which was expanded to 3 days from one after a successful premiere at the adventure theme park's Grand International Bandstand Theatre in 2008
