El Hispanic College Fund y el Central Valley Higher Education Consortium hoy abrieron las solicitudes estudiantiles para el Central Valley Hispanic Youth Symposium 2010. Las solicitudes ya están disponibles a http://www.hispanicyouth.org. Estudiantes de escuelas secundarias en los condados de Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced, Stanislaus y Tulare pueden solicitar al programa, el cual es enfocado en motivar a los jóvenes latinos a tener éxito en la universidad, la carrera, y el servicio comunitario. El Central Valley Hispanic Youth Symposium tendrá lugar del 20 de julio al 23 de julio del 2010 a Fresno State en la ciudad de Fresno. Aproximadamente 100 estudiantes asistirán el programa.

High school students scheduled to graduate with the Class of 2012 or Class of 2013 from Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced, Stanislaus, and Tulare Counties are encouraged to apply to the program, which is focused on empowering youth for success in college, career and community service. The Central Valley HYS will take place from July 20 -23, 2010 on the campus of Fresno State. It requires only a $10 commitment from students; all other expenses, including lodging, transportation and food, are covered. Approximately 100 students will be selected to attend.
