Modern Drummer Publications is proud to announce an unprecedented lineup of world-class drum artists, along with a new location just north of New York City, for the eighteenth edition of Modern Drummer Festival Weekend--the most prestigious, longest-running, and largest live drumming event in the world. The event, which features established drumming legends as well as rising stars from a wide variety of popular musical styles, will take place on Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21, 2008 in the Concert Hall of the Performing Arts Center on the campus of the State University of New York at Purchase, New York.
