HSA’s mission is, through performances and other music related activities, to: 1) raise awareness of the UN’s human security initiatives worldwide through media, celebrity and influencer advocacy; 2) raise funds from the philanthropic and private sectors to support initiatives which protect and empower people facing critical and pervasive threats such as poverty, hunger, forced migration, human trafficking, and/or armed conflict; and 3) encourage the private sector’s proactive involvement and utilization of all possible resources to support the UN’s human security initiatives.Among these resources, HSA believes in the unifying power of muse and music to inspire and generate hope, and hence it has adopted name Power of Muze as its program moniker. HSA, through its Power of Muze initiative, intends to mobilize global citizens as well as the private sector to help alleviate suffering through a universal language, bringing music and culture to feed the spirit. Mr. Nomura states that “HSA recognizes the importance of mental health -- hope, dreams and dignity -- and intends to extend both comfort and support through music.” He continues that “establishing the HSA is an important step toward a private-public collaboration that will trigger momentum for global society to further advance human security all over the world.”This much anticipated concert will kick off The HSA’s further initiatives to support the UN’s efforts to promote human security globally.
